Is The Future of Fashion Vegan?

The Fashion Debates explores the industry’s relationship with animal welfare and the rising trend of leather alternatives in another inspiring evening. With a number of high-profile retailers joining the fur-free movement, and a 350% rise in the number of people adopting vegan diets in the UK over the past ten years, do other fashion brands needs to follow suit?

Will we see the sale of fur and exotic skins outlawed in the UK? Will leather be viewed with the same distain as fur in the future? How did cat fur end up in a number of high street faux fur products and what can we do to prevent it happening again? What are the challenges of using leather alternatives? These vital questions will be covered, plus come with your own questions to put to our panel.
